BLAWNOX, Pa. -- Police said a well-dressed man who was questioned in a bank robbery in Blawnox on Tuesday was not the robber.
Investigators said the robbery happened around 12:30 p.m. at the Allegheny Valley Bank on Freeport Road.
Officers said a man walked into the bank, demanded money from a teller and ran.
Channel 11's news exchange partners at TribLIVE reported that the man was arrested a short time later on Route 28 near the Shaler water plant. After interviewing the man, police concluded that he was not the robber.
Allegheny County Police detectives said they are reviewing surveillance photos.
