STOWE TOWNSHIP, Pa. —
Authorities are investigating a shooting in Stowe Township after a house was shot at several times.
According to police, officers responded to an altercation on Flemming Avenue between Mariah Domek and neighbors who live behind her.
Domek’s fiancé, Timothy Jeffers, said once the police left Domek’s house, a group of men came to the house and tried to kick in the door.
According to Jeffers, when the group couldn’t kick down the door, they started firing shots.
Jeffers said a window was broken and their TV and couch were also hit.
Domek told Channel 11 News that one of the bullets went into a bedroom where a baby had been just 10 minutes earlier.
Authorities said there were at least five shots fired, but no injuries were reported.
Stowe Township police have not released any other information about the shooting and said they’ve handed the investigation over to Allegheny County.
