Worker seriously hurt at construction site in Bethel Park

BETHEL PARK, Pa. —

A construction worker is recovering from serious injuries after an accident at a construction site in Bethel Park Monday.

Officials said the worker became pinned between a front loader and a work truck at the site on Route 88 and Brightwood Road around 10 p.m.

Police said the victim was working on a repaving project when he was crushed. Officers said the man injured both of his legs.

The worker was taken to UPMC Mercy Hospital. There is no word on his condition.

The accident is under investigation.
