Man Found Dead Inside Car Near Favorite Fishing Spot

WEST MIFFLIN, Pa. —

West Mifflin police are investigating after the body of a 24-year-old man was found inside the back of a sport utility vehicle Monday afternoon.

Michael Falvo's body was found inside the SUV, which was parked along Route 837 and Lebanon School Road.

A driver passing by noticed Falvo, of Port Vue, inside the vehicle at his favorite fishing spot along the Monongahela River.

While the investigation is still continuing, family members are trying to let the news sink in.

"I have a lot of different emotions going on right now," said Falvo's brother, Nicholas Falvo. "Cause, it's still shocking to me, surprise. I haven't even let it all settle in yet. It's going to take time."

Police are not revealing how Falvo died but are ruling it a suspicious death.

Allegheny County Homicide is now handling the investigation.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
