Man Injured In Firework Accident

Firework Explodes In His Hand

 

MONACA, Pa. —

A Beaver County man was injured and flown to a Pittsburgh hospital after a firework exploded in his hand.

An ambulance responded to an address on Atlantic Avenue in Monaca Friday night and transported a 33-year-old man.

Beaver County 911 dispatchers said the wound was between the victim’s thumb and index finger.

The man was flown to UPMC Presbyterian for treatment. His condition was not available.
