Man Rescued After Falling Off Bridge

 

BUFFALO TOWNSHIP, Pa. —

Firefighters from Sarver needed to repel down to save a man injured after falling off a bridge in nearby Buffalo Township, Butler County.

The victim dropped off a raised section of the rails to trails path just after 6:30 a.m. Sunday.

While conscious when rescuers arrived, his injuries were serious enough that emergency dispatchers called in a medical chopper to fly the unidentified victim to a Pittsburgh Hospital.
