Man Shot Dead In Pittsburgh's North Side

 

PITTSBURGH —

Authorities are investigating a deadly shooting on Pittsburgh’s North Side Monday night.

Police said a 31-year-old man was shot in the chest along Sandusky Street shortly before 10 p.m. The victim, whose name has not been released, ran a short distance before collapsing near Hemlock Street, police said.

He died a short time later at Allegheny General Hospital.

Investigators said they found two shell casings near the scene, but they aren’t releasing details in the case.
