Man Shot In Hill District

A Hill District man was rushed to UMPC Mercy Hospital after he was shot in the head, police said.

The shooting happened on Bedford Avenue around 8 p.m.

Detectives found two shell casings and a gun at the scene.

The unidentified victim is in critical condition.

Witnesses said he is related to a man shot and killed on Chauncey Drive earlier this month.

Detectives took away a man in handcuffs, but said he is not connected to the case.

He was arrested on drug and weapons charges.
