Man Suspected In Armed Dormont Robbery Arrested

DORMONT, Pa. —

Police have arrested a man accused of robbing an Exxon On the Go market in Dormont over the weekend.

Police said Eugene Lumpkins brandished a knife and demanded money from the cashier.

"A black male in his 50s came into the store and went behind the counter and held a knife to her throat, demanding all the money from the cash register. And if she didn't comply, he stated that he would kill her,” said Sgt. James Burke of the Dormont Police Department.

Police continue to investigate.
