UNIONTOWN, Pa. —

A missing man was found alive Friday night in Fayette County, state police said.

Jasper Terrance Martin, 60, of Lemont Furnace, was found at about 11 p.m. in a wooded area near his home.

State police said Martin had fallen and was suffering from exposure, but he is otherwise healthy.

Martin, who is schizophrenic, was reported missing Friday morning after he walked away from his home.

He was not wearing any shoes or socks.

Martin also has emphysema and requires an inhaler, which he did not take with him.
