Mom Charged After Child Found Wandering Greensburg Street

A Westmoreland County mother was charged with child endangerment after police said her young son was found alone outside on June 7.

The incident happened in the 300 block of Harvey Avenue in Greensburg.

Polic said Alysa Kelly, 20, claimed to be taking a shower when the child, who is less than 2 years old, ran out of the apartment.

A motorist discovered the boy standing alone near the street, police said.

Kelly's preliminary hearing is set for July 9.
