New Castle Police Officer Charged With Sexually Assaulting Teens

 

NEW CASTLE, Pa. —

A New Castle police officer was arrested Wednesday night on charges that he allegedly sexually assaulted two teenage girls.

Pennsylvania State Police said the assaults happened at a home at in the 400 block of Moore Avenue in Union Township.

Richard L. Corbin, 35, is accused of giving alcohol to a 13-year-old girl and a 15-year-old girl. He then allegedly had sex with both girls, police said.

The date of the alleged assaults was not released.

Corbin was charged with multiple counts of sexual assault, indecent assault, corruption of minors and furnishing liquor to minors.

Corbin was released from jail on bond and placed on leave from his department pending further investigation. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for Wednesday.
