New Trial Begins For Area Doctor Arrested In Internet Sex Sting

PITTSBURGH —

A new trial is expected to begin on Monday for a doctor who was arrested in an Internet sex sting.

Dr. Kenneth Tolman, a radiologist from Ross Township, is accused of soliciting sex online from someone he thought was a 13-year-old girl. The doctor had actually been chatting with an undercover officer in the Pennsylvania Child Predators unit.

Tolman’s first trial ended in a mistrial in January when the jury was unable to reach a verdict.
