Late Hit Costs Ward $5,000
PITTSBURGH, Pa. —
The NFL fined Hines Ward $5,000 on Friday.
The league fined Ward for a hit on Browns Cornerback Daven Holly during last Sunday's game.
Ward had been penalized on the play for unnecessary roughness.
