North Shore Casino Construction Resumes

PITTSBURGH —

Almost two months after being rescued from near bankruptcy, the North Shore casino is resuming construction.

Work resumed after Chicago billionaire Neil Bluhm bought the unfinished casino, and the recent good weather has allowed workers to catch up.

General Manager Ed Fasulo said the outer skin of the casino will be completed by December.

The casino is expected to open August 2009.
