North Shore Casino Plans Approved

Decision Marks Important Milestone

PITTSBURGH —

The city planning commission voted Tuesday to approve the plans for the Majestic Star Casino.

The developer must now get two permits from the Department of Environmental Protection.

Then, demolition of existing buildings and construction of the casino can begin.

Developers hope to break ground by the end of the year.
