Signs and banners call attention to the genocide in Darfur.

The banners represent the 3,300 villages in the African country that have been destroyed or damaged since 2004.

As G-20 delegates begin to arrive in Pittsburgh, organizers hope to call attention to the plight of Darfur.

“We hope the delegates who will be convening over there at the Phipps do more than lip service,” said organizer David Rosenberg. “The international community had the power to save Darfur.”

The display will be installed until the end of the week, when the G-20 summit comes to a close.
