Officials Close Canonsburg Skate Park Because Of Bad Behavior
CANONSBURG, Pa. —
A brand new skate park in Washington County has closed because of neighbors' complaints.
Borough leaders said the $700,000 park in Canonsburg was shut down Friday because of bad behavior from skaters.
Neighbors made complaints about profanity, loitering, littering and harassment.
Borough leaders said they hope the closing will teach the skaters a lesson.
