Pair Of Shoes Stolen From Home In Latest N. Huntingdon Burglary

NORTH HUNTINGDON, Pa. —

Burglars forced a house door open and stole a pair of shoes on Thursday in North Huntingdon.

Police said the burglary is the latest of five break-ins reported during daylight hours in the Ardara and Larimer areas.

There are five burglaries that are unsolved, but police said each case is similar. Someone knocks on a door to see if there are people are at home. When no one answers, the thieves break in, taking money, jewelry and guns.

At least on one occasion a blue car, occupied by a white male and female, was seen in the area. A child-restraint seat was observed by witnesses in the backseat of the car.

Police describe the white male suspect standing five-foot two-inches tall, weighing approximately 135 pounds with brown hair.
