Pedestrian Hit, Killed By Tractor-Trailer In Armstrong Co.

 

ARMSTRONG COUNTY, Pa. —

Police said a man was killed after being struck by a tractor-trailer on an Armstrong County highway Tuesday night.

Investigators said 47-year-old Gordon Solley, Jr., of Templeton, Pa., was trying to cross Route 28 in Rayburn Township when he was hit and killed by a FedEx truck.

The road was blocked off for several hours while police investigated.

No charges have been filed in the case.
