Pittsburgh Elementary Student Finds Marijuana In Pocket

 

PITTSBURGH —

Police are investigating after a second-grade Pittsburgh Public Schools student found marijuana in his pocket on Wednesday.

The student attended Liberty Elementary in Brookline, Channel 11's news exchange partners at TribLive, reported.

PPS spokeswoman Ebony Pugh said the student turned the marijuana over to a teacher when he discovered it.

Pugh said the student was not at fault and that the parents are being investigated.
