BULLSKIN TOWNSHIP, Pa. —

A small plane carrying West Virginia University men's hoops fans crashed in Bullskin Township, Fayette County, Sunday night.

The single-engine Cessna aircraft ran out of gas, hit a power line and landed upside down in a field near Bell View Road, authorities said.

Two passengers and the pilot suffered minor injuries, police said.

The plane flew to Buffalo Sunday morning to watch WVU play in the NCAA tournament. It was on its way back when the crash happened.
