Police Arrest Fugitive After 10-Month Search

A fugitive who was on the run for 10 months was arrested Tuesday night in McKees Rocks.

Officers with the Allegheny County Sheriff's Office found Tyree Davis, 24, hiding in a home in the Hays Manor housing complex.

They surrounded the home and took him into custody without incident.

Davis was wanted on five separate warrants for gun violations, drug charges and assault.

The first of those crimes happened in August of 2006. Davis had been on the run since August of 2008.

Davis will be held in the Allegheny County Jail until his trial starts.
