PITTSBURGH —
The roundup began at sunup and by 9 a.m. more than a dozen residents were arraigned, booked and on their way to jail, accused of selling illegal drugs including cocaine and marijuana.
Thursday's crackdown capped a four-month long investigation by a task force that includes district attorney investigators, county probation officers and Coraopolis and Moon police.
"I think we made a dent today. We always want to keep people on their toes. We are not going to stop. We are going to keep going," said Coraopolis Police Chief Alan DeRusso.
