Police: Attempt To Abduct Girl Made Multiple Times

A Crime Watch Alert was issued by Crafton police after an attempted abduction May 10.

Officials said a 9-year-old girl walking along Harrison Street was approached by a man on a bicycle.

The man tried to grab her and then she ran away, police said.

The victim said she remembered the same man watching her at a playground May 4 and knocking her off her bike on May 7. She said she also saw him on Emerson Street on May 9.

The man is believed to be between 18 and 20 years old. The girl described him with dark hair and wearing a tan shirt, shorts and sandals.
