Police: Butler Man Killed In Hit-And-Run Crash

BUTLER, Pa. —

A Butler man was killed Friday night when his bicycle was struck by a car.

Butler police said Jayson Cramer, 21, was struck about 10:40 p.m. in the 300 block of Zeigler Avenue.

Investigators said Patrick Duncan, 29, of East Butler was driving the car that struck Cramer and that he left the accident scene.

Police said Duncan's car was located approximately 25 minutes later on Protzman Road, just south of Portman Road.

Police reported the car was heavily damaged and still had the bicycle wedged underneath it.

Duncan was taken into custody after police found him walking along Portman Road near state Route 422.

Duncan was placed in the Butler County prison on an outstanding bench warrant.
