Police: Butler Man Struck Trooper's Cruiser During Police Chase

BRADY TOWNSHIP, Pa. —

Police are searching for a 21-year-old man who they said led them on a chase through Brady Township, Butler County, early Thursday morning.

Police said troopers attempted to stop Isaac Morrison for multiple traffic violations, but they said he refused to stop in his red pickup truck.

A pursuit began, during which Morrison, of Slippery Rock, struck one of the trooper's cruisers along Covert Road, police said, causing his truck to veer into a cornfield. Police said the chase continued and Morrison again struck the trooper's cruiser along Lindy Road.

At that time, police said the man got out of the truck and fled on foot. Police were unable to find Morrison, but filed charges and issued a warrant for his arrest.

He is charged with aggravated assault and fleeing and eluding police, among other charges.

Anyone who knows the whereabouts of Morrison is asked to contact police.
