PULASKI TOWNSHIP, Pa. —

A vehicle found Tuesday afternoon in the Shenango River in Lawrence County was stolen, and no one was inside, authorities said.

Investigators and dive teams found the minivan in the river along Nashua Road in Pulaski Township.

Authorities were notified when someone noticed fresh tire tracks near the Nashua Bridge.

Police said they checked the vehicle’s license plates and found that it had been stolen. Authorities said they believe the thieves pushed it into the river.
