Police ID 2 Struck By Car Along Route 51 In Rostraver Township

 

ROSTRAVER, Pa. —

Police have identified two people injured late Thursday night when they were struck by a car in Rostraver Township, Westmoreland County, police said.

The two victims, Jimmy Carrier and Kim Slavic, were hit at about 10 p.m. along Route 51.

Police said the impact shattered the car's windshield on the passenger side.

Rostraver police said both victims were looking for a motel when they were hit. They were flown to Allegheny General Hospital, where they are in critical condition.

The driver of the car, Randy Shepler, was not arrested, police said.

Authorities continue to investigate.
