Police Investigating Series Of North Versailles Vehicle Break-Ins

 

NORTH VERSAILLES, Pa. —

Allegheny County Police are investigating a series of vehicle break-ins that took place between Monday night and Tuesday morning in North Versailles.

Police said that six cars were broken into along Preston Road and Texton Drive, and items stolen from the vehicles include car stereo systems and credit cards.

According to police, one victim’s credit card was used in a Buy and Fly store in North Versailles and the Brentwood Giant Eagle, as well as businesses in Duquesne, Clairton and West Mifflin.

Police said that the thieves were caught on a surveillance camera at the Brentwood Giant Eagle.

The police indicated that they have generated several leads in their investigation and are hopeful to make arrests soon in the case.
