Police: Man Beaten With 2-By-4 In Point Marion Apartment

 

POINT MARION, Pa. —

One man has been hospitalized after a brutal attack at an apartment in Point Marion, Fayette County.

Police said the attack happened at about 9:30 p.m. Thursday inside the victim's apartment along Fourth Street.

Police said Warren Nicklow beat Ralph Miller with a 2-by-4 piece of wood.

According to a witness, Miller was standing in the front of the apartment, yelling about people drinking his beer without paying for it. The witness told police Nicklow and Miller were arguing when Nicklow struck him with a 2-by-4 on the side of the head.

Miller was taken to Ruby Memorial Hospital in West Virginia, where his condition is not known. Medics said Miller was unresponsive and had obvious head trauma.

Nicklow was taken into police custody. He faces charges of aggravated assault.
