Police: Man Stole Cash, Cordless Phone From 93-Year-Old Man's Home

 

VANDERBILT, Pa. —

Police are searching for a 19-year-old man they said broke into a home in Vanderbilt belonging to a 93-year-old man.

Police said Danny Swink III, forced his way in to the home along Pennsylvania Avenue Sunday night, showed a knife, and demanded the man give him all of his money.

In addition to the money, police said Swink stole the victim's cordless telephone and fled the scene.

A warrant was issued for Swink on the charges of robbery, burglary, theft by unlawful taking, terroristic threats and simple assault.

Anyone with information on Swink's whereabouts is asked to call state police at 724-439-7111.
