Police: Overbrook Drug Bust Nets 1,000 Bags Of Heroin

PITTSBURGH —

An undercover drug bust netted Pittsburgh police 1,000 bags of heroin on Tuesday.

According to police, detectives made an undercover purchase from Dorian Dawson in the area of Overbrook Avenue at about 2:15 p.m.

A short time later, detectives executed a search warrant at a home along Valera Street in Carrick, where Dawson and Donicia Shaw were arrested.

During the search, police said they seized the heroin, ammunition, cash and cell phones.

Both Dawson and Shaw face charges that include drug possession and intent to deliver.
