Police Search For Suspects In Shooting; Deadly Hit & Run

One man was shot Friday night in the Hill District and a second man was struck and killed by an SUV, possibly involved in the shooting, Pittsburgh police said.

The Medical Examiner's office identified the man struck by the SUV as Garry Bryant, 64, of Bedford Dwellings.

The shooting happened about 10:15 p.m. on Watt Lane.

Emergency dispatch workers said the shooting victim was taken to a Pittsburgh hospital for treatment, in critical condition.

The shooting victim's name was not released.

Bryant was killed in the 700 block of Watt Lane.
