Police To Finish Investigation Into South Fayette Teen Accused Of Killing Mom In India

Channel 11 expects to learn more about what will happen to a South Fayette teenager accused of killing his mother in India.

Jon Carlo Patton is currently being held in a juvenile detention center in that country.

Friday is the deadline that a judge set for police to finish their investigation and file a report before a juvenile board.

Indian police believe Patton slit his mother's throat while she slept at a resort in Osian.

Police said that Patton killed his mother, 51-year-old Cindy Iannarelli, following a heated argument while the two were on vacation.

He reportedly wanted her to reconcile with her ex-husband, who is Patton's father.
