Pregnant Woman Injured In Rte. 19 Head-On Crash

 

BUTLER COUNTY, Pa. —

Traffic was backed up for miles along Route 19 in Jackson Township on Wednesday after police closed the road after a head-on collision.

Investigators said the crash took place between two sport-utility vehicles at about 12:30 p.m.

Officials on the scene told a Channel 11 photographer that a nine-month pregnant woman was injured in the crash.

A medical helicopter was called to fly her to a Pittsburgh hospital. There is no word on her condition.
