Protest Held Over Killing Of Geese

Protestors Upset With Dan Onorato

NORTH PARK, Pa. —

A candlelight vigil was held on Saturday night to protest the killing of geese in North Park.

Voices for Animals of Western Pennsylvania organized the event outside of the Boat House.

The group has expressed outrage at county executive Dan Onorato for allowing the killing of 272 geese to control their population, after promising this spring that the animals would not be harmed.
