Race Car Accident Sends One To Hospital

 

ALIQUIPPA, Pa. —

Police said a sports car was totalled along a Beaver County road Friday night.

A heavily modified Chevrolet Camaro was flipped over on its roof and the driver sustained injuries.

That driver was flown to an area hospital by helicopter.

WPXI photographer Dave Clark heard the accident from his Independence Township home.

He said the loud crash was proceeded by the car's roaring engine.
