Brogan joined up with Coldwell Banker Real Estate services to offer her house during the company’s 10-day sales event.

The Brogans' home will be one of almost 700 properties listed during this sales event.

As for the brogans they said two factors played into them being a part of this.

“We lowered the price to be in part of this sale. But we do need the exposure,” said Brogan.

This nationwide sales event will see select house prices slashed up to 25 percent.

“It's definitely a push to spur the local economy. We've been fortunate in Pittsburgh to not suffer some of the devastation some of the other markets have and we want to keep it going in the right direction, " said Tom Yargo of Coldwell Banker Real Estate.

The sale begins Oct. 10 for more information go to Coldwell Banker.
