Residents Use Garden Hose To Fight East Liberty Fire

 

PITTSBURGH —

Fire damaged a home Thursday morning in East Liberty, firefighters said.

The fire started at about 2 a.m. in the 6000 block of Saint Marie Street.

Dispatch workers said people used garden hoses to try to put out the fire before the firefighters arrived.

The fire was brought under control in about 30 minutes. No one was hurt.
