LATROBE, Pa. —
The leading American brewer just announced it purchased the Rolling Rock brands from In-Bev USA.
The acquisition will make the Rolling Rock brand more available to more consumers.
Anheuser-Busch paid $82 million for the global brand rights and recipes.
In-Bev plans to sell its brewery in Latrobe.
The company said the plant will close July 31 unless it is purchased.
The company is talking with potential buyers to determine the best available option for the brewery and its employees.
