Ross Park Mall Expands Again With Trendy New Store

ROSS TOWNSHIP, Pa. —

A popular mall in Ross Township is set to open a store that will bring a touch of Los Angeles to Pittsburgh.

Ross Park Mall officials announced the new addition of specialty store Metropark, which is set to open in August 2009.

The Los Angeles-based chain opened its first four stores in California in late 2004. The Ross Park Mall store will be the company's first in Pennsylvania.

The store features edgy, contemporary apparel and accessory brands. The store also showcases a custom audio-visual presentation with an emphasis on current music, fashion and art along with live DJ performances on weekends, art installations and fashion shows.

Brands sold at Metroparl include OBEY, Crash & Burn and Affliction, premium denim brands such as True Religion, MEK and Rock Revival, as well as designer tops, bags and belts, fashion jewelry, watches, magazines, gifts and novelty items.
