Sewage Repairs Begin In Brookline

Residents Asked To Not Use Water

BROOKLINE, Pa. —

Neighbors on Birchland St. in Brookline are being asked not to use their water.

Crews began repairing sewage lines in the area Wednesday.

Neighbors have been asked not to use water from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. in order to prevent sewage from backing up into homes.

Residents say they were not informed of the repairs until Monday.

The repairs could take up to two weeks to complete.
