Somerset Man To Pay Fine For Killing 600-Pound Black Bear
SOMERSET, Pa. —
A Somerset County man will be fined for killing a 600-pound black bear.
Mark Blough, 49, of Stoystown, pleaded guilty to illegally killing a bear in Shade Township in November.
His attorney said Blough thought the kill was legal, but it is illegal to disturb, wound or kill a bear in a den.
Blough will pay $1,300 in fines.
