Spending Freeze Approved In Jeannette

A spending freeze was approved in Jeannette Tuesday.

According to WPXI’s news partner, The Tribune Review, the new city clerk told city council Monday night that there are bills from January that still need to be paid.

The clerk said the city's finances are in such turmoil that no purchases should be made, including any overtime.
