SPRINGDALE, Pa. —

A fire that destroyed a vacant house in Springdale is being investigated by the Allegheny County fire marshal.

The blaze began at about 10:20 p.m. Tuesday along Frazier Street.

Emergency workers said the fire reached two alarms before it was brought under control.

At one point, the house was fully engulfed in flames and part of the roof collapsed.

No injuries were reported. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
