State Police Searching For Escaped Convict

Police are asking for the public's help to find a prison escapee.

Authorities are looking for Thomas Leonard Wright, 28.

He escaped from the Riverside Community Corrections Center on Beaver Avenue in Pittsburgh where he was serving a two-year state sentence.

Wright was being held on retail theft charges.

He was given a day pass to see family Sunday and never returned.

He is described as being 5' 11", 165lbs, with hazel eyes and several tattoos.

Police said Wright has an assaultive history and a drug addiction and said he could be in the Washington County area.
