Steelers Cedrick Wilson Charged With Assaulting Former Girlfriend

PINE TOWNSHIP, Pa. —

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Cedrick Wilson was arrested Wednesday night on suspicion of assaulting his former girlfriend.

According to a criminal complaint, Lindsay Paulat told police she was sitting inside Patron Mexican Grill on Perry Highway with her boyfriend when Wilson walked in.

Paulat told police Wilson pushed her right shoulder, causing her to turn around. When she did, Paulat said, Wilson punched her in the face.

Paulat said Wilson then left the scene. Police said they later found Wilson pulling out of his Pine Township driveway. They pulled him over on a traffic stop and took him into custody.

Wilson is charged with simple assault, harassment, and disorderly conduct.
