Stowe Twp. Murder Suspect To Appear In Court Today

A hearing is scheduled today for a man accused of killing his girlfriend and her daughter earlier this month in their Stowe Township home.

The bodies of Tia Crawley, 15, and her mother, Sherry, 42, were found inside their Frazier Street home. Sherry Crawley's 14-year-old daughter, Kiana, found them.

Sherry Crawley's ex-boyfriend, Durand Alexander, is charged with two counts of criminal homicide in the slayings.

According to the criminal complaint, Alexander told police he was drinking and first shot Sherry upstairs, and then he went downstairs and shot Tia several times while she worked on her online classes.
