Stoystown Man Arrested On Animal Cruely Charges

State police in Somerset charged James Ansell with cruelty to animals.

Troopers said they found a Labrador, a cat and mice abandoned for several days in Ansell's residence.

They said there was no food or water for the animals.

The dog was in a small wire cage.

The animals were taken to the Somerset County Humane Society.
